Hi, I’m Mark, a Higher Education professional specialising in Technology Enhanced Learning with over 15 years experience.

I have used and embedded mainstream e-learning tools and created bespoke solutions to meet the teaching, learning, and assessment needs at the University of Plymouth.

I have a creative digital background where I studied Lens-Based Media (photography, animation, and film) before experimenting with Digital Art (new media, web design, interactive art). My time studying these subjects provided a grounding for using technologies creatively, especially with utilising the web. During my bachelors degree I took a year out to work in e-learning and immediately fell in love with the area and gained immense satisfaction.

After completing my studies, I immediately began a career in Higher Education, specifically in Digital Education, which has allowed me to continue exploring his passion. As my experiences and growth in this area has increased, I’ve had the opportunity to further my studies by completing a Masters in Education, again specialising in enhancing Education assisted by technology.
